SPX – 09/09/2016

This was a bull put spread I entered after the market spiked down. The increased volatility gave me good premium so I took the trade. I was going to try and turn this into an iron condor by adding the calls but I never saw a good enough opportunity. I had such a good entry on my puts that I did not want to risk it by adding to the trade.

My risk on this trade was $9,250.00. My $500.00 profit gave me a return of 5.4% for a 13 day trade. The trade was exited when my desired profit was reached by a GTC close order I placed when I entered the trade.
